About WealthWise
What this is, how it works, and what it deliberately does not do.
Why it exists
Most people are not short of financial information. They are short of a clear view of their own situation — what they have, where it is heading, and whether it is enough. These tools exist to turn that fog into a number you can look at and argue with.
What happens to your data
Nothing. Every calculator here runs entirely inside your browser. The figures you type are never sent to a server, never stored, and never logged. There is no account to create and nothing to opt out of. That is also why the tools respond instantly — there is no network round-trip to wait for.
How the maths is built
Every formula lives in one shared, tested engine rather than being reimplemented per calculator, so the SIP maths behind the quick calculator is the same maths behind the goal planner. Each calculation is pinned by hand-verified test cases, and Indian conventions are followed properly — recurring deposits credit interest quarterly, PPF deposits earn from the start of the year, and NPS enforces its mandatory 60/40 split.
Every calculator lists its assumptions in plain language. Where a projection cannot be computed honestly — a goal that is out of reach, a corpus that never overtakes inflation — it says so rather than showing a comforting number.
What this is not
These are educational tools, not financial advice. They assume constant rates, which no real market delivers. They cannot know your circumstances, your tax position, or your tolerance for a bad year. Use them to understand the shape of a decision — then talk to a SEBI-registered investment adviser before acting on one.
